Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, our world is transformed. What we thought we knew before COVID-19 is permanently upended. Our lives are forever defined as before COVID - and after.
Instead of venturing out into the unknown, the adventure is now on each of our own doorsteps - if we are fortunate enough to have one.
Already shaken out of complacency, millions around the world have taken this pivotal moment to shout, "NEVER AGAIN" to inequality. Too often momentum like this begins, seemingly flourishes -- and then fades away. This time, the imperative is to reinvent ourselves as planetary citizens - all of us together - equal in rights and in responsibilities.
I've often wondered why the American Constitution didn't have a "Bill of Responsibilities?” 12 Habits 4 All of Us is designed to perpetuate a year-round media-shared monthly message plan to remind us of our personal responsibility to be our best selves and to respect and get along better with one another.
Our goal is one world together, integrating rather than alienating us from one another by instilling the shared practice of 12 core habits of civility.
We welcome you on this journey to becoming better global citizens while gaining happier, more fulfilled lives along the way. Go to www.12habits4allofus.org and join in the global power of coming together, one month and one person at a time.
Be kind and be well.
